How to Delete Your Data

You can request the deletion of your WebtoonSocial account and associated personal data at any time. We offer the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Account Deletion

1. Log in to your WebtoonSocial account
2. Go to Settings
3. Navigate to the Account section
4. Click "Delete Account"
5. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your username or email address associated with your account
• A brief statement requesting data deletion

What Data Is Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your profile information (username, display name, avatar, bio)
• Your posts, comments, and replies
• Your direct messages
• Your group memberships and associated activity
• Your likes, saves, and reaction history
• Your follow/follower relationships
• Your notification history
• Your uploaded images and media

Processing Time

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. During this period, your account will be deactivated and your content will no longer be visible to other users.

Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained beyond the deletion period for the following purposes:

• Legal compliance: Data required to comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Abuse prevention: Records related to violations of our terms of service, to prevent repeat abuse
• Aggregated analytics: Non-identifiable, aggregated usage statistics

Third-Party Data

If you logged in using a third-party service (e.g., Google, Apple), you may also want to revoke access from that service's settings. Deleting your WebtoonSocial account does not affect your third-party accounts.
